On Sunday I found a book called Dreams. It was a small hard cover, second edition, published in the sixties. The cover was pale blue and Dreams was embossed on the centre in gold. Dreams was a study about dreams, surprisingly enough, undertaken by an American Ivy League professor. There were chapters on the act of dreaming, how you know if you're awake or asleep, bad dreams, waking dreams; I wish I could remember more specific details about it. I couldn't afford to buy Dreams at the time, but I think I need to own it.
