I love a cosy, cluttered, lived-in kitchen. Jars and bottles lined up on shelves, potted herbs, stacks of cookbooks, copper and cast iron pots hanging along the walls and utensils gathered into jars, jugs and vases on benchtops. If I were to build my own, it would have wooden work tops, mustard walls, exposed bricks, somewhere to sit and talk/eat/read/drink tea and lots of pictures on the fridge.
