I washed all my sheets today, ironed them, folded them. If I had some lavender to hand, I'd pop some in my pillow. Is there anything better than crisp white cotton? French Connection's 1972 Vintage collection makes me think of crisp white sheets.

lazy
Woke up at midday, lay in bed til one, showered, went to lunch, bought flowers and some fancy groceries, looked at expensive kitchenwares, ate a burger, drank a coke, went home. Watching TV.
NOTE: I really like this Creme flavoured soda, Boylan brand. I saved the bottle.

hey LOU

I think my new room is approximately the same size as yours.
I need some wall to wall, ceiling to floor shelves.
And, perhaps, a clothes rack that hangs from the ceiling.
Also, Mary Poppin's carpet bag and/or Doctor Who's pants.
Don't worry about me though, Susie is on the case.

sleep
I'm so tired after a much-too-fun weekend. All I want to do is go home, eat a vitamin rich stew and fall asleep.
Speaking of which, last night I fell asleep with my light on and my face in a book. When I lived with a boy I used to wheedle and whine until he'd spoon me, every night. It is amazing how you get used to not being hugged to sleep. I thought I could not live without it, so being able to was a happy suprise. It is very nice though. floating
"My bed is a soft white because I want to feel like I’m waking up on a cloud every morning."
That's Diana of Jewels of New York's bedroom above, via DesignSponge*
This is just how I feel! This week I'm moving into a new home, which means new room - with floor to ceiling shelves and an avocado tree outside!! - and getting to do all the lovely setting up and unpacking and 'playing house' which I adore.
In preparation I have freshly washed all my white bedding and requested the squishy cloudey feather duvet be sent from NZ. It's getting colder here so I've also bought, and am rather excited about, a white crochet bedspread/throw. Dreamy.
How much do you love clouds? As much as me? I mentioned a wee while ago my desire to make a mobile and have now decided exactly what it's going to be...
